About Us
Southside Pride delivers three
editions: the Phillips Powderhorn Edition on the
1st Monday of every month; the Nokomis Edition on the 2nd Monday of every month; and the Riverside Edition on the 3rd Monday of every month. We offer discounts for multiple
runs.
Advertising Rates
1) General Placement Ads
General placement ad rates are $20 per column
inch. (See size chart below.)
• 1/8 page ad = $180
• 1/4 page ad = $360
• 1/2 page ad = $700
• full page ad = $1,300
Ad Sizes
Southside Pride is printed on a tabloid size paper (actual
size is 11.25 x 16 inches) . We use a 5-column format. Column widths
are as follows:
• 1 column = 1.95 inches
• 2 columns = 4.025 inches
• 3 columns = 6.0 inches
• 4 columns = 8.175 inches
• 5 columns = 10.25 inches

For example: a
business card size ad (2 columns x 2 inches) is $80.
2) Back Page Placement
Rates are slightly higher for the high profile
back page at $24 per column inch. Spot color is included at no extra
cost.
3) Guaranteed Placement
An additional 20% charge will guarantee placement
on a particular page, corner of a page, or section.
4) Color
Southside Pride provides free spot color for
placement on the center Coupon Bonanza section and the back page
Home Improvement page. Rates for color on any other page:
• Spot Color = $150
• 4-color process = $300
5) Inserts
Cost for inserts is $50 per 1,000 inserts (5
cents each). Minimum of 4,000.
6) Design Fees
Varies by job; small ads are usually free. All
ads include one proof with one freechange. Ask our Account Executive
for details. Any fee is included in the first bill.
7) Discounts
Placement of the same ad in a second edition
of Southside Pride in the same month will earn a 10% discount on
the second ad.
Placement of the same ad in the third edition
will earn a 25% discount.
