Dear Editor,
I am writing to support the candidacy of Becka Thompson for Ward 12 on the Minneapolis City Council. I have worked with Becka on Minneapolis Park Board issues. She has always shown a willingness to listen, and work toward a better Minneapolis Park system. I support her goals of cleaning up Lake Hiawatha by working towards a realistic collaboration with all communities such that they send clean water into Lake Hiawatha. She has the energy and thoughtfulness to be a strong voice on the City Council for the benefit of the residents of Minneapolis.
